I have a Dell XPS M170 with a PCMCIA card slot for Express. I bought a new Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook ExpressCard/54. What can I do to go with my laptop?

I called Dell and it was a nightmare! They said that the card is compatible with your laptop. Then call Dell, if not lit the light and the computer recognizes the new card. First, it was not Vista compatible, so you can go back to the factory settings, and then should you finally going to say that the card is defective! I did not reformat my computer! I had my share of DELETE for the love of Christ!

I took it from Best Buy - one of the geeks, said in 5 minutes. The card does not work with the PCMCIA Express slot!
