I have a Technics turntable SL-BD20D model and am very excited to hear my records, the only problem is the engine sounds funny. I have the belt, but I do not know if I done well. Please answer I can hear my documents! Thank you Jenn

This is the right way to put the belt, remove the rubber mat on the plate and pull the tray out of the tree. Put the belt around the inside of the turntable shaft. To remove one of the openings in the top drawer, remove the tape from the inner center and keep it there. Lower the tray back into the bay. Pull the tape a little more and put some around the motor pulley and between the two points behind the running speed of the holder if this model has one. Replace the carpet and get your party started. Ensure good band, one that is too large, scratching sounds.
